Etoricoxib Tablets contain etoricoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor belonging to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class. It is used to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation associated with several musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.
How it works
Etoricoxib selectively inhibits the COX-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins that contribute to pain and inflammation. By reducing prostaglandin production, etoricoxib helps decrease pain, swelling and stiffness.
