OVERVIEW
Allucid Tablets 10's are an oral antacid preparation. Each tablet contains aluminium hydroxide 120mg and magnesium trisilicate 250mg. These ingredients help neutralise excess stomach acid and provide relief from common symptoms of acidity and indigestion.
Mechanism of Action: How It Works
Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium trisilicate act as antacids by neutralising hydrochloric acid in the stomach. This raises the pH of the stomach contents and helps reduce acid-related irritation and burning discomfort. Their action is mainly symptomatic; they do not eliminate the underlying cause of every condition associated with acidity.
